EMBARGO POLICY

VIVA embargoes information presented as Late-Breaking Clinical Trials from publication until after the beginning of the Late-Breaking Clinical Trial sessions as listed in the VIVA and The VEINS Course Guides, viva-foundation.org, or the Virtual VIVA app. No publication, exhibitor, or affiliated company may disseminate this information until after the commencement of the Late-Breaking Clinical Trial session in which it is presented. All embargo times will be listed in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

The VIVA Foundation accepts comments and discussions via our social media outlets related to vascular education. We do not solicit nor endorse any comment which may be posted, and comments, likes, or follows do not express the opinion or views of the foundation. We will remove any information, discussion, comment, and material that we deem to be inappropriate and/or which violates our policy to protect patient identities. All content or commentary with a promotional purpose for a service, device, or technology will be removed immediately. The VIVA Foundation assumes no liability for information posted or presented by outside parties, and only endorses comments and postings provided directly by the VIVA Foundation.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO RECORDING, and AUDIO RECORDING

Any posting or live streaming of entire sessions or live cases and use of any VIVA or The VEINS course content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Any filming of interviews or other professional video in the VIVA and The VEINS conference space, including but not limited to educational sessions, meeting rooms, premier suites, satellite spaces, or outdoor patios is prohibited. Exhibitors may choose to film within their assigned exhibit space, if not disruptive.

NEWS RELEASE POLICY

  • All news releases must abide by the VIVA Foundation’s embargo policy and should not be released prior to the embargo date and time, if applicable.
  • Releases should reference The VIVA Foundation, VIVA24, or The VEINS 2024 in the body of the release, preferably in the first paragraph. Suggested language is provided below.
  • For advance approval on press releases, please send the press release to press@viva-foundation.org. News releases will be held in the strictest confidence.
